It’s easy to access the highways and byways of our great country to begin a road trip any day of the week. All you need is a vehicle, a driver, either a friend or spouse, a few interesting audio books to listen to on the way, a GPS and off you go!
Northern New Mexico road trip – Santa Fe to Chama

Sometimes the journey is as good as reaching your destination. I certainly found that to be true as I traveled from busy Santa Fe to Chama in the mountains… almost to the Colorado border. In the short 2.5 hour drive, I enjoyed passing by lakes, Georgia O’Keeffe country and traveling into the wooded land around Rio Chama. The landscapes I passed were amazing.
