Night at the opera — Lincoln Center, New York City

The Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center is located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of New York City,. Amidst the hustle and bustle of uptown traffic, this section of Manhattan is graced by swanky shops and corporate giants. As we entered inside the ornate halls of “The Met,” excitement filled the air. Opera lovers crowded the hallways, glass of wine in hand, chatting about the night’s performance, anticipating the curtain going up.

Getting Bradley Beach back from the clutches of Sandy

Today’s a bleak day in the neighborhood of Bradley Beach, which matches the sentiments of many who live in Monmouth County’s beach communities. Life at the beach is wonderful, except as victims of Hurricane Katrina know, and now we do too, “If you live by the water, you have to expect the water to come visit you some day.”
