Last February 14, as my husband and I cruised on a Princess ship, we were surprised but pleased to learn that couples could participate in a renewal of vows that evening.

As we come to the end of the our Majestic Colonial vacation, a good friend of mine, Mr. William Shakespeare reminds me, “Parting is such sweet sorrow. . .,” not before mentioning that to this all-inclusive hotel and resort I definitely will return sometime in the future. A summer trip to the Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana, DOminican Republic, with airfare and an all-inclusive food, beverage and lodging package costs approximately a thousand dollars per person for a full week.

Your entire stay at the Majestic Colonial is based on the theory of relaxation and fun. You can chose to do whatever you want, whenever you want to do it. Resort guests are asked if they’d like to try out some of the sport, boating, parachute ride, banana boat, but if that’s not what a guest wants to experience, there is no hard sell.

Historic Falmouth port in Jamaica now open for cruise ships

In February Royal Caribbean International’s Voyager of the Seas became the first ship to call at the new 32-acre, two-berth Historic Falmouth Cruise Port. The grand opening celebration took place in late March when the mega-ship Oasis of the Seas docked there.
