Celebrations abound as Delta Air Lines expands their presence in the Pacific Northwest and Seattle in particular. Delta Air Lines teamed up with Michael Bublé to celebrate the airline’s expansion into the Seattle region.
Delta hosted the event, which included a VIP Receiption and intimate Q+A with Bublé for its elite SkyMiles members and key partners, in recognition of the airline’s top customers in the Seattle market. Additionally that evening, the elite Sky Miles members and key partners received premium tickets to attend Michael Bublé’s concert at Seattle’s Key Arena. The attendees were given special access and seating in “The Delta Zone” (Bublé Box). Delta Zone guests enjoyed an up close and personal experience with the artist when he performed a set right in front of them during the show.
Held at the Pavillion at Seattle Center, the reception was a resounding success. Delta had a hosted bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and Delta flight crew mingled with clients and customers to talk about the exciting future ahead for Delta and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Bill Werde, Billboard’s Editorial Director, led the Q+A session with Michael Bublé. Some of the questions were quite humorous relating to how Michael got his start in the music industry, how he juggles the family life (he is a new father to a 3-month old son) with his career and where he is headed with his career.
