Marvel Cave
A little over 50 years ago, Marvel Cave was the hole in the ground that grew up to be Silver Dollar City. You have the opportunity to tour Marvel cave whenever you visit the theme park. Silver Dollar City theme park evolved around the entrance to one of nature’s greatest wonders, Marvel Cave.

In the 1960’s, Hugo and Mary Herschend, and their sons Jack and Peter, opened a theme park built around the entrance to Marvel Cave. Any time you visit Silver Dollar City theme park, you can tour Marvel Cave at no extra charge.

Fantastic Caverns
There is no walking in Fantastic Caverns. Board a Jeep-drawn tram and relax in the drive-through tour of Fantastic Caverns. Rain or shine the cave is open and you stay dry. If walking is a problem, the tram tour makes this cave accessible.

Cool Fact: The only drive-through cave in American
Open daily, hours vary by month. Fantastic Caverns opens at 8am. Check the web site for details.
Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Talking Rocks Cavern

Trip Tips: Caves are damp. Wear comfortable  shoes for walking tours. The cave temperatures are about 60 degrees even on the hottest days. You may want to bring a sweater for the tours which are about 1 hour long.
