Good news for country music fans in Branson, Buck Trent’s Morning Show is now at the RFD-TV The Theatre. Buck’s first show of the season is March 22, 10 a.m.

It’s fun with “Mr Banjo”, as featured male vocalist Kenny Parrott, female vocalist Terri Williams, Bruce Hoffman, Jonathan Black, Robbie Blackwood, Dave Clark, and Dean Holman entertain you with a high energy show.

Memory Lane – Buck joined the Bill Carlisle Show in the late 1950s and soon made his first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry. Buck Trent was a member of Porter Wagoner’s “Wagon Masters” from 1962 to 1973. He designed the electric banjo, an instrument shaped something like a steel guitar which featured a mobile bridge used to change the pitch.

Buck appeared on the Roy Clark Show and spent the next seven years as the opening act for Roy Clark. He also appeared regularly as a featured musician on the long-running TV show Hee Haw. “Mr. Banjo” was twice named the Country Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year (1975, 1976) and twice the Instrumentalist of the Year for the Music City Awards.

He also appeared on several television shows such as “Mike Douglas Show”, “Tonight Show”, “Nashville On The Road”, “Tommy Hunter Show”, “Dinah!”, “Command Performance”, “Music City Tonight”, and “Nashville Now”.
