Halloween fun at Sea World San Antonio

Fall is the perfect time to visit Sea World in San Antonio, Texas. Daytime temperatures are finally in comfort range, and you don’t have to worry about the crunch of summer crowds.  In addition to the usual wonderful aquatic shows and activities, Sea World is celebrating Halloween with Spooktacular and Howl-O-Scream on select days and nights through October 30.

Catch silly and spooky shows including Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween. Then join scarecrow stiltwalkers in the Pumpkin Bash. Enjoy photo ops with Sesame Street favorites, and trick-or-treat alongside huggable SeaWorld characters. It’s the only place kids can come in costume and explore an enchanting underwater Halloween FantaSea.

Special events include SeaWorld’s Pumpkin Patch, where kids get to pick and paint their own pumpkin While waiting for their masterpiece to dry, the whole family will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.

Or arrive early and have breakfast with The Count, Elmo and their Sesame Street friends.  Start your Halloween Celebration with this fun-filled experience sure to delight kids and parents alike.

Spooky fun for all ages lasts until 6 p.m.; after that bewitching hour, ghouls get creepier with Sea World’s Howl-O-Scream.

Howl-O-Scream Face Your Fears Tour

Feel the shiver down your spine as you think about what you might encounter in the Frightmare Forest. Go behind the screams, and get a back-grave look at the SeaWorld Scare Squad. This tour includes:

  • An all you can eat buffet with resident pumpkin-head Jack-O-Lantern.
  • A “behind the screams” walk through of Frightmare Forest and Den of the Departed, with a chance to learn the art of “scaring”.
  • Reserved seating at “Shamu’s Rockin’ Creep Show”.
  • Reserved seating at “Monster Stomp” – A brand new show for 2011.
  • Front of the line access to Den of the Departed and Frightmare Forest and the newest attraction, Jack’s S.O.S Maze.
  • Meet and greet with the animal stars of “Creepy Creatures.”

Dine with Jack

Enjoy dinner with Howl-O-Scream rock star, Jack-O-Lantern. Each group will receive a picture with Jack and Quick Queue passes to the mazes as well as reserved seating at Shamu’s Rockin’ Creep Show and Monster Stomp, a new show for 2011.
