Silver Dollar City, known as the home of the American Craftsmanship, hosts hundreds of visiting craftsmen during the National Harvest Festival in Branson Missouri, USA.

New this year: Timberworks Lumberjack Show, Turning Wood Into Art Showcase, The Big Wheel Lathe returns and Chainsaw Carvers.

The Harvest Festival hosts Made In Missouri Juried Exhibit & Sale featuring Best of Missouri Hands Artists. There will also be hundreds of demonstrating craftsmen throughout the park sharing their expertise with onlookers. Read about Rex Morton, Master Craftsman.

America’s Largest Barn Dance
Join in Missouri’s Largest Barn Dance at the Red Gold Heritage Hall. Kick up your heels on the wooden dance floor for six forty-five minute sets per day. Live bands will be playing country & western and western swing tunes.

Bands performing at America’s Largest Barn Dance are – Texas In The Swing: September 10 -25, Horsecreek Band and Friends: September 10 – October 29, Missouri Travelers: September 28 – October 9, and Les Gilliam & His Silver Lake Band: October 12 – 29.

Don’t Miss: Award winning production, Headin’ West at the Opera House. The 45-minute live musical production, created especially for Silver Dollar City, tells the timeless tale of American westward expansion during the 1860s. Enjoy the moving musical adventures complete with special effects, brilliant scenery, and talented actors in Silver Dollar City’s biggest show ever. Show is free with park admission.

Silver Dollar City’s Culinary & Craft School Classes – Learn to prepare The best of Ozarks cuisine, from smoking food to Grandma’s Chicken & Dumplings or a Fall Harvest Dinner cooking classes taught by Culinary Arts Craftsmen.
