When looking at venues for destination weddings it helps to see what a venue will look like. In an effort to assist you with those choices, here is the White Witch Golf Course venue as presented by the Ritz-Carlton at Rose Hall, Jamacia. It was fascinating to see the venues laid out during a recent visit to Jamaica (with thanks to the Jamaica Tourist Bureau for hosting a tour of romantic venues). The White Witch Golf Course is carved out of 600 acres of lush greenery and rolling countryside that features panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea from 16 of its 18 holes. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the hotel.

Considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean, White Witch was named by its creators, golf course architects Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril, after the 19th century beauty, Annie Palmer, who owned the sugar plantation on which the course stands.

The par-71, 6,859-yard golf course in Jamaica is characterized by mountainous terrain, cool tradewinds, colorful foliage and spectacular ocean views from most holes.
