Groton and New London, CT on the Thames

New London and Groton, CT are separated by the Thames River where it empties into Long Island Sound. It is home to the US Coast Guard Academy, the Submarine Library and Museum, UCONN’s Avery Point campus, and ferry service to Block Island and Orient Point, NY.
