Where to go to be in the know...about travel
Scottsdale is a great place to go for sunshine, golf, Spring Training Baseball, or gallery hopping. If you plan a getaway to Scottsdale, I want to recommend two places to stay. One is a small boutique hotel in old town and the other is a full service resort in north Scottsdale.
Picture eating octopus ceviche from a martini glass while deep-sea fish watch from above. You are not near an ocean but in a Chicago neighborhood restaurant.
So you’re headed to the red rocks of Sedona? You’ll find some great things to do. Sedona is known for natural beauty, history, art and those mystical vortexes.
Some come to experience the spiritual side of Sedona and visit the Vortex sites. And others come to relax at a resort and shop at the galleries and boutiques. Or maybe finding some great hiking sites is what you want to do. No matter what, you will not be disappointed by Sedona.
Esplendor Resort review and photos. On a road trip to southern Arizona we had the opportunity to relax and take in the hospitality of a scenic resort when we reached Rio Rico, Arizona, our “home” for three days. Esplendor Resort turned out to be truly a place of warmth and splendor.
