For well over a hundred years the Brooklyn Bridge has connected two large boroughs: Brooklyn and Manhattan. On a daily basis, people drive, walk, or ride a bike over the Brooklyn Bridge to get into Manhattan or vice versa, to get back into Brooklyn.

If you are looking for something to do when you are in the NYC area, consider walking the South Street Seaport. You don’t need to make plans ahead of time nor do you need dinner reservations. Just show up and you can stop in at one of the restaurants on Pier 17. Or stop for a drink at an outdoor cafe and enjoy people watching like they do in Paris.
