The Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center is located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of New York City,. Amidst the hustle and bustle of uptown traffic, this section of Manhattan is graced by swanky shops and corporate giants. As we entered inside the ornate halls of “The Met,” excitement filled the air. Opera lovers crowded the hallways, glass of wine in hand, chatting about the night’s performance, anticipating the curtain going up.

This year marks the 85th anniversary of the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Christmas show spectacular featuring Santa Claus, and the Rockettes chorus line, high kicks still as perfect as ever.

Today’s a bleak day in the neighborhood of Bradley Beach, which matches the sentiments of many who live in Monmouth County’s beach communities. Life at the beach is wonderful, except as victims of Hurricane Katrina know, and now we do too, “If you live by the water, you have to expect the water to come visit you some day.”
