New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway: connecting north and south

The Garden State Parkway, from Cape May, N.J. to Hohokus, through the center of the state is the scenic way to travel through New Jersey.   The GS Parkway has made travel destinations through New Jersey and into the Greater New York area easy, affordable, and picturesque.

This time of year shore traffic on the Parkway, heading towards the south, is now diminished, and bumper-to-bumper traffic won’t be back until spring 2012.  It’s a great time to get on the road and see parts of New Jersey that you haven’t seen.  Fall is definitely the time to take to the beach.

The leave’s firey glow of bright crimsons, oranges, and golds is like viewing a painters canvas. It is art at its best, nature’s way of sharpening our senses.
