Eckert’s Country Store and Farms

Drive to Illinois apple country, just minutes away from St. Louis Missouri. Eckert’s began as a simple roadside stand in 1910. Today, the seventh generation of the Eckert family oversees retail, pick-your-own crops, and entertainment operations at locations in Belleville, Millstadt, and Grafton, Illinois.

Country Store is well stocked with favorites like apple butter, honey, jams & preserves, pickled vegetables and buckwheat pancake mix. You’ll recognize the heavenly fragrance of the bakery when you walk in. There also a wine department, deli and fresh produce.
Just twenty-five minutes from downtown St. Louis, our Belleville “home place” farm is the site of our original 1910 roadside stand. A restaurant, orchards, custard shop and garden center complete this country store site. Hours, Country Store: 8am–8pm, Garden Center: 8am–8pm
Restaurant: 7am–9 pm, Custard Shop: 11am -9 pm.

Grafton Farm – 20995 Eckert Orchard Road Grafton, IL 62037 The familiar rustic barn and farm looks just like it did years ago when it opened in 1964. Grafton Farm is the original site that began an annual fall family tradition.

Watch the goats climb to amazing heights, feed the farm animals, play a round of miniature golf, swing on an old-fashion tire swing or just relax and enjoy a funnel cake. The Milstadt Farm is the place to go for Billy Bob’s pig races, or to ride the Deere Express through the orchard, or plunge into the 70-foot underground slide at Eckert’s Mining Company.

Jumping Pillows is a giant colorful, inflatable pillow that is so much fun for kids and adults, too. Watch the amazing pumpkin cannon, the Jack-O-Lobber. The Jack-O-Lobber fires a pumpkin a half-mile. Shows are every hour on the hour Friday through Sunday.Wagon rides to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch are a favorite for all.

For the bravest of you, The Milstadt Farm’s Haunted Hayride runs through October. Haunted Hayrides: October 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29. Free with $10.00 Fun Farm Admission.

This is the place if you are craving country food like roasted sweet corn or chicken shish kabobs, hotdogs, bratwurst, KettleKorn, homemade ice cream and funnel cakes are always on the menu. Watch a real live melodrama play out on the Grand Stage, check the web page for times.

Wine and Cooking Classes – Class schedules are on the website. Many are for holiday cooking; a lot of them are for kids. Some classes are limited to adults. Register early, class size is limited.
