Kansas City: Haunted House Capital of the World

The Beast

THE BEAST, America’s largest haunted house.

It’s a frightening but fun night in Kansas City on Halloween. Some Halloween Adventures are open now ’till Halloween and others only on specific dates. Check the web sites for dates and times. Here are five scary adventures for all ages….

1. The Beast
Founded in 1991, The Beast is America’s largest haunted house. It pioneered the open-format design that allows for ghosts, spooks and other creatures to lunge out at you at any time. Allow roughly 40 minutes to get through The Beast if, of course, you don’t get lost in the terrifying werewolf forest.
