Bruno’s for Italian in Springfield MO

Brunos feels as comfortable as a neighborhood restaurant should. Casual and familiar regulars don’t even need a menu when they order. I like reading the simple authentic menu selections.

Gathering Place – Bring a friend to Bruno’s. It is a great restaurant for a glass of wine and conversation. As you linger perhaps you order something light and flavorful like brick oven-baked La Margherita
pizza. Homemade sauce and fresh basil make this pizza a perfect light lunch. As simple, pure and straight from the oven as pizza can be. Pizza with only tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil, this could be the reason why Italian food is considered romantic.

Zuppa del Giorno – homemade soup of the day is always good and the salads are colorful, fresh, tasty. The isalada (salad), pizze (pizza), antipasti (soup, appetizers) selections may change your mind about always choosing pasta at Italian restaurants.

My favorite salad is: Insalata di Arugula al Balsamico con Pinoli (Arugula salad with shaved parmesan, toasted pine nuts in a balsamic vinaigrette) A salad plate full of rich flavors and simple ingreients.
