Flood Information For Branson Travelers

Branson’s shows, attractions, and restaurants are open for business with few exceptions. If you are headed to Silver Dollar City or to see shows on the strip, your vacation will go on as planned.

The Army Corps of Engineers has closed Highway 165/265 across Table Rock Dam for 7-10 days. Repairs will be made on the shoulder, road bed and guardrails.

Alternate Routes

Branson visitors should use the Alternate Route through Hollister to reach businesses south of the dam: Go south on Hwy 65 to the Hollister Exit. Turn right after exiting and then left at stoplight onto Hwy 165. Follow the signs to continue on 165. Continue on Hwy 165 to your destination.

Dewey Short Center 

  • Showboat Branson Belle and State Park Marina are both open on their regular schedules. Please make note of the alternate routes.

  • Ride the Ducks is open during the 165/265 closure, guests depart from the Hwy 76 duck dock for a 2-hour tour routed through Hollister that includes Baird Mountain and a splashdown in Table Rock Lake. Once Hwy 165/265 reopens, the ducks will resume their regular route and 70-minute tours.

Branson Landing Information

  • Shorty Small’s Restaurant and Branson Landing Cruises have reopened. San Francisco Oven and the White River Fish House are closed. All other Branson landing restaurants are open.
  • The Hilton Promenade Hotel is closed. Officials expect the hotel to reopen this week.
