Happiness is an Illusion

Hamner Barber Variety Show is a laugh out loud production packed with music, magic and comedy.

The audience does a double take when the hilarious “Barber & Seville,” dummy and Jim exchange roles in one of many hilarious performances. Jim Barber gives the audience a one-of-a-kind show, mixing magic and ventriloquism into an original, outrageously funny show for all ages.

Jim Barber’s incredible vocal abilities as a singer and ventriloquist leave everyone laughing. Jim was recently awarded the International “Ventriloquist of the Year” Merlin Award for his unique combination of magic techniques and ventriloquism. His one-of-a-kind characters and original, wholesome comedy have made him an audience favorite.

Illusionists Dave and Denise Hamner bring elaborate, mouth-dropping illusions to the stage. Dave also brings several macaws and cockatoos into the show. The birds appear from nowhere and fly out over the audience before returning to stage.

The Hamners rapid-fire magic is stunning. You won’t forget illusions like “Vertigo: The Fall of Death” and “Secrets of the Lost Ark Revealed.” The Hamners magic is as good as you will see, or maybe you have seen them in Las Vegas, Disneyland and Hollywood.

Dave Hamner's Cockatoos appear from no where, circle the audience and return to stage.
